How to Create Price List Per Statistical Group in Sage X3

In some cases, customer categories do not correspond to the pricing matrix. Customers within the same category and geographical location might still have different prices for the same product.

Sage X3 provides the flexibility to assign multiple statistical groups. We can organize customers into groups that align with the same pricing matrix by utilizing these statistical groups, ensuring accurate and consistent pricing strategies.

Customer Statistical Groups

We shall start by creating the statistical groups that will act as our list of price list as well.

See the image below;

After creation of the statistical group, we should now proceed to map each customer to the respective statistical group.

In my image above, I am using the statistical group 2 for the pricing matrix.

Once all customers have correctly mapped with the statistical groups, we shall proceed to setup the price structures.

Sales Pricing Structure

On the criteria, select the respective tables to be used in setting up the price list.

On the first line, we have picked the Customer table, and the field to use from the table is the Statistical group. Since we have several statistical groups with the setup, there is a need to set an index for the groups.

First statistical group will always have the index 0, second statistical group is index 1.

In our example, we are using the statistical group 2 which is index 1 as shown in the image above.

On the second line, we shall select the product table and link the item as the field to be used.

In this setting, we shall be linking the Item from the product table and the Statistical group from the Customer table to have a price list.

Sales Price List

After creating the parameters and the common data setup above, we can now proceed to create our prices.

I have created my price list for the same item for the different statistical groups as shown above.

Once this has been set, let’s move to carry out our sales transactions.

From the images above, I have two customers with similar group 1 but different group 2.

Sales orders for the two are as shown below;

From the above images, we can see the different prices set up in the price list.
