We have seen that with the release of Sage 300 ERP version 2018(6.5) new theme has been introduced similar to Windows 10 theme. When we customize any standard Sage 300 screen/OCX, we do not get the new look and feel provided by the Sage 300 ERP in v2018 and above. It’s best that our customers/users have the same UI as the standard screens and not like the older Windows XP style UI.
New Stuff:
We have demonstrated below, the older UI and the modern UI along with a snippet of code which may help the developer to make use of this functionality.

Refer the control, Navigation buttons and finder icon. The same difference can be viewed when using the new button, drop-down list, calendar control and other sage 300 controls.
Code snippet for modern UI:
Note that the modern UI is not visible when debugging the project from Visual Basic Application.
So, developer can use the above code snippet to call the modern UI provided by Sage in Sage 300 ERP v2018 and above.
