In this blog we will discuss about the customization on order entry screen.
When creating an Order Entry transaction, the user is required to apply a discount. If the user does not enter a discount or leaves the discount percentage blank, the transaction will automatically be marked as “On Hold” when posted.
Example:
If a user named XYZ enters a discount percentage of zero and clicks “Post,” the transaction will be placed on hold.

Removing the “On Hold” Status
To remove the “On Hold” tag from an Order Entry transaction, the user must have the “Unit Price Overriding” permission for OE Order Entry transactions.
If a different user attempts to post the transaction, the system will first check whether that user has the “Unit Price Overriding” permission. If they do, the program will allow posting and automatically remove the on hold status.
