Introduction to Digital Signature Addon in Sage300 ERP

In the modern digital world, ensuring the authenticity and integrity of electronic data has become a critical necessity. A Digital Signature Module plays a pivotal role in securing communications and digital transactions by providing a mechanism to verify the origin and integrity of a document.

New stuff : The “On Hold” feature on the Order Entry screen of GreyMatrix for Sage 300.

In Sage300 ERP, a wide range of Add-on modules such as Audit Document, Document Numbering, Auto BR, GST, TDS, and more are available to enhance the functionality of the software system. Recently, we have developed a new add-on called “Digital Signature”, that provide features to sign Documents Digitally that allows a sender to sign electronic data in such a way that the recipient can verify the authenticity of the sender and ensure that the data has not been altered during transmission.

The working of our new Digital Signature add-on is to automate the digital signing process, enabling seamless document handling within the system. It assigns user-specific, unique digital signatures, ensuring secure authentication and streamlining the approval workflow.

This Addon will consist of following Screens:

The module includes Options to Store digital signatures securely through easy configuration settings via

  • USB
  • API

It also allows to configure the User ID and the associated signature name which will be used as the visible signature on reports. Once these settings are configured, the system will automatically display the appropriate digital signature at required location reports.
