Send Reminder Messages based on Task & Appointment Priority in Sage CRM

There are many additional features in Sage CRM. In this blog we will be discussing on reminder emails that can be sent based on priorities. Mostly there are three type of standard priorities.

  1. High
  2. Normal
  3. Low

Every user has his own preferences set in Sage CRM as per convenience. Similarly you can also set the reminder preferences. Under Reminder Preferences section below three option are available.

  1. Default targets for high priority reminder messages:
    Choose the targets that you want high priority reminder messages to be sent to.
  2. Default targets for normal priority reminder messages:
    Choose the targets that you want normal priority reminder messages to be sent to.
  3. Default targets for low priority reminder messages:
    Choose the targets that you want low priority reminder messages to be sent to.

Reminder Preferences
These Reminder Preferences configuration is used to send reminder email/message to users based on their convenience of getting notified. You can configure the Email reminders to be sent to user on their Desktop email address, Mobile email address, and SMS.

Task Screen
However, while configuring please make sure the user details section is configured with appropriate email address and phone numbers to receive the reminder emails and reminder messages.

  1. Email
  2. Mobile Email address
  3. Phone numbers

User Details
The Email reminder are sent via escalation rule. Hence you can globally set the user default target of sending reminders under Workflow & Escalation Configuration section as displayed below.
