GUMU™ for Sage CRM – Sage EM integration is a real-time bi-directional link where user can update the information from Sage CRM to Sage EM and vice versa. Today, in this blog we will walk through how users can generate/view reports in Sage CRM using GUMU Sage CRM – Sage EM Integration by creating External database. This can be helpful for any Sage CRM users and Salesperson for viewing Sage EM information’s like customer, quotes, orders and invoices in Sage CRM through CRM standard reports.
New Stuff: Pre– Requisites for installing GUMU for sage CRM- Sage EM
User can customize views to add more fields from Sage CRM side. Since we have used standard Sage CRM reporting and view functionality, while building the view, user will need to make sure that you design or modify it as per standard Sage CRM procedure.
For generating reports in Sage CRM, user should create a View in Sage CRM which can be used during reporting purpose. We will explain the complete process by taking example of Customer entity from both Sage EM and Sage CRM and will generate the report by displaying Sage EM Customer data along with Sage EM and Sage CRM fields.
Create a View in Sage CRM which will display the Sage EM Customer information along with Sage EM and Sage CRM fields.
1. Administration -> Customization -> Company -> Views -> New
2. Enter proper View Name (say vCompanyReport)
3. Check Reports View checkboxes. This is required for generating reports in CRM
4. Enter View in View Script section and Save. Before adding View, make sure that View should get executed in SQL with proper field name which you want during reports. Refer below screenshot,
5. Refresh Metadata
