How to Customize the Time picker list

In sage CRM, date and time field play an important role. User can add customized data time field according to their business requirement and can have multiple customization related to these fields. Usually Date Time field are added with date and time pickers. Where date picker shows calendar and time picker shows time list with half an hour interval as shown below:

In our blog, we will provide a quick tip on how to customize this time entry list. For example, the user wants to alter this list with 15 minutes interval that is 14.15, 14.30, 14.45,15.00 and so on. This dropdown list is managed at the translation level. So to add any selection option to this list follow below steps:

  1. Log On to CRM.
  2. Navigate to Administration | Customization| Translations.
  3. Click on New.
  4. Add caption code as selection option you want say 14.15 , caption family as “TimeNOAMPM”, Caption Family Type as “Choices”.
  5. Add US and UK translations as 14.15.
  6. Click on Save.

Upon saving this data, 14.15 will be added to Time List.

To remove options from this list, you need to delete translation records for that option. Hope this will be helpful!
