An Email and Communication module is one of the most used features by Sage CRM users to manage and maintain customer relationships. In the latest release of Sage CRM 2022 R1, new features and enhancements have been introduced related to Email Templates.
New Stuff: Sage CRM 2022 R1: Change Default Location of Log Files
In this blog, we will discuss new feature “Resize table columns in email templates” introduced in Sage CRM 2022 R1 version. Sage CRM users can modify the size of the table added into an email template in Sage CRM 2022 R1 version. Users can resize an entire table to improve readability or to improve the visual effect of your document. Adjusting the table size, column width, or row height can be done manually in the latest version of Sage CRM 2022 R1.
In the previous versions of Sage CRM user is unable to resize the table in the email template. In previous version, table size was fixed, and users cannot resize the column size of the table added into an Email template.
For Example:
- Login into Sage CRM v2021 R1 with Admin user.
- Navigate to Administration | Email and Documents | Email Template
- Click on New button.
- To add a Table, click on the table symbol.
- Add a table with number of rows and columns.
- Click on OK.
Now hover the mouse on a column and try to modify the column width. JFYI, column width auto changes as per the data but the user cannot change it as per his convenience. This problem is addressed in the Sage CRM 2022 R1.
- Login into Sage CRM v2022 R1 with Admin user.
- Navigate to Administration | Email and Documents | Email Template
- Click on New button.
- Click on the table symbol
- Add a table with number of rows and columns.
- Click on OK.
- Hover the mouse on the column of the table.
When user hovers the mouse on border of the table column a double-headed arrow will enable. Using it users can drag the border to resize the column width as per their requirement. Also, with this version users can create a table with a maximum number of rows and columns in an email template.
