The Price Hierarchy followed in the GUMU™ integration mirrors the one used in the Sage 100 ERP application. As a result, users can confidently create sales transactions in Sage CRM, knowing that the pricing information adheres to the established standards set in Sage 100 ERP.

Listing below the pricing hierarchy followed in the GUMU™ Integration according to the priority. (Note: All these pricings are set in Sage 100 and those are called on real-time basis in Sage CRM while adding line items against quotes\orders)

PROMOTION PRICING:

If a sales promotion is currently active the system will apply the promotion price to the transaction. This means that customers will be able to purchase the product at the discounted promotional price instead of the regular calculated price.

This mechanism encourages customers to take advantage of the sales promotion by offering them a lower price than the usual calculated price for the product. It helps increase sales and promotes customer loyalty by providing them with cost-saving opportunities during the promotional period.

CUSTOMER BASED PRICING:

Customer price schedule is a pricing strategy applied to specific customers based on their unique customer numbers. It allows businesses to offer personalized pricing, discounts, or promotions to different customer segments. When a customer places an order, the system looks up their customer number and applies the corresponding price rules to calculate the final prices. This helps businesses build customer loyalty, adapt to market changes, and boost sales by providing tailored pricing for individual customers or groups.

CUSTOMER PRICE-LEVEL SETUP PRICING:

When a customer has a specific price level set up, the system will use the pricing defined in that customer price level to determine the item prices for that customer. This allows businesses to have different price levels for different customers, providing them with personalized pricing.

PRICING BASED ON PRICE CODE SETUP:

Price Code Maintenance is a feature in Sage 100 ERP that lets you set up different pricing methods for your products. You can choose to apply markups, discounts, or quantity-based pricing. These price codes can be assigned to specific items in your inventory.

When you enter an item in a sales transaction, the system automatically calculates the price based on the assigned price code and the quantity you’re selling. If a customer has a specific price level defined in their account, that price level will be used in sales orders. For items without an assigned price code, the standard price for that item is used.

The Price Code Maintenance is particularly useful when you have different groups of customers with specific pricing requirements. You can create custom price levels within each price code and link them to individual customers. This way, you can offer tailored pricing to different customer groups.

If you need quantity-based pricing for specific items or customers, you can either define it directly in the Item Maintenance or Customer Maintenance screens. Price Code Maintenance gives you flexibility in creating a pricing structure that suits your business needs.

PRICING BASED ON STANDARD PRICE CODE SETUP:

User can set up standard price codes in the Price Code Maintenance module. These standard price codes determine the base pricing for your items. When a specific item doesn’t have any other price codes or customer-specific pricing, the standard price code is used to calculate its selling price.

STANDARD PRICING:

The “Standard Price” in Item Maintenance is the default selling price assigned to an item. It serves as the base price for the item and is used when no other special pricing or price codes are set up for that item. This ensures a consistent and predefined price for the item, unless there are specific pricing arrangements in place for it.
