Changing Sage CRM Default log on page for Mobile view

The use of mobile for any kind of activity is a very common thing now. People expect to get things done on their fingertips. The same principle applies to Sage CRM as well.

There are two ways to access Sage CRM on your mobile. It has a dedicated mobile app and a mobile view. The mobile view is nothing but accessing Sage CRM through the mobile browser. It’s a very user friendly and easy to use option. It supports functionality like viewing data, adding or modifying data, Reports, etc.

In today’s blog will specifically focus on how we can override the default behaviour of home page in mobile view.

New Stuff: Validation Error on Custom Entities in Sage CRM

As we know in the desktop version, we can set the default page or home page for business users once they login to the Sage CRM. But when we login to the Sage CRM using a mobile browser, the default page opens Calendar. There is no such option available from front end or from application to change the default page for the mobile view. We will explain how to change this default page from Calendar to Opportunity list for the mobile view.

Below are the steps that you need to follow:

1) Go to “\ WWWRoot\mobile\logon\logon.html”.
2) Open login.html and go to line number 83.
3) Make changes from “action=”#ewarepath#/go”” to “action= “#ewarepath#/go?B=opportunitylistblock”.

After doing changes this would bring users to the opportunity list post their log into the Sage CRM mobile view.
