Greytrix’s Sales Commission application for Sage Intacct has many more powerful features which we have already discussed in our earlier blogs. In this blog, we are introducing our Account Label Default feature, this helps you to calculate and pay commission in the case when you do not select Commission Group and Commission Type on the Line-Item Level as well as to the Customer. Here, our Sales Commission application smart events give the priority to the Commission Type selected on the Account Labels.
This feature calculates the commission and distributes it to the Sales reps. attached to the Commission Group. The Commission Group is attached to the Commission type selected on that account. These accounts are nothing but the AR Account Label from Sage Intacct.
Now, we will see how to apply Commission Type to the AR Account Label. This feature belongs to our native Sales Commission application.
Navigation: Applications > Sales Commission > Account Label Defaults
To select the Commission Type on the GL Account you need to click on Account Label Defaults.
On the above screen, you have to select the AR Account Label and Commission Type > Click on Save.
Once you created this entry you can select the account on AR Transaction to Calculate and Pay Commission as shown in the below Image.
Navigation: Go to Account Receivable > Create an AR Invoice > Select the AR Account label > Click on the Post button.
After posting the AR Invoice, the commission will calculate on the Sales Commission Tab. Once the commission is calculated successfully you can Post and Pay the Sales commission against the same Invoice and the commission will get distributed to the Sales reps. attached to the Commission Group.
Using this feature, we can simply Calculate and Pay commission in the 2 steps.
