- A salesperson is assigned as an employee to a contract line and receives a commission based on the contract line amount.
- The commission is calculated according to the Commission Group Type, which contains a commission type with a method for calculating the commission and a commission group assigned to employees.
- To process commissions on a weekly or monthly basis, create a run in the Sales Commission Application’s offline process with a From Date and To Date for the desired period.
- Additional filters such as employees and contract numbers can be applied.
- When creating a run for the month, commissions are calculated for contracts with agreement dates that fall within that period.
- The system filters out contract lines with agreement dates in that period.
- Commissions are calculated for the salesperson assigned to those contract lines according to the Commission Group Type.
- The calculated contract commissions are stored in the Sales Commission Application’s Contract Commission menu.
