Company logo can be added to customize our business documents in Sage Intacct. Co-branding the main title bar and sign-in page can help promote/enhance business. We may need to add our company logo to our printed documents to create the branded look.
Printed documents are the standard documents which include invoices, statements, purchase orders, sales orders, and financial reports. Email templates are the ones that we create in Order Entry module for the purpose of sending documents/statements to customers or others.
Go to Company > Setup > Configuration > Company > On the Company Information page, scroll down to the Printed logos and text section. Here, we can add a logo for whichever document we want to brand, using the Upload logo button.
Co-branding is an efficient marketing strategy! Well, need a Company logo? Uploading a logo to replace the Sage Intacct logo on login and company screens:
Navigate to Company > Setup > Configuration > Company > On the Company Information page, scroll down to Display section. The system displays a file upload screen > Click Browse and select a GIF, JPEG, or PNG image > Click Upload. The system replaces the Sage Intacct logo with our logo.
Specifically, what size and format of a logo should we adhere to?
Generally, the logo should not be larger than 3.0″ wide x 0.6″ high (216 x 43 pixels’ space), but also the size may vary based on document definition. Ensure that the logo prints clearly on all documents. The logo to be uploaded can be either in PNG, GIF or JPEG format; but more preferably a GIF format and size of the file must not exceed 5 K.
With printed document templates, we are able to create customized professional templates for transaction documents covering Accounts Receivable, Order Entry, Purchasing, and Inventory Control. We can add Static text, merge fields and also images. These templates provide formatting in Word with the additional flexibility of merge fields to display dynamic information or transaction specific data from Sage Intacct. For the best image printing results include the logo in the templates, instead of using the logo merge field; and avoid resizing the image in Word.
Especially for AR invoices, built-in option can be chosen which includes “logo” in the title:
- Product based with logo
- Service based with logo
For System-generated printed documents, Click Upload logo which will display a file upload screen > Browse and select a GIF, JPEG, or PNG image to upload. The system automatically displays this logo on all of the standard documents.
In case of XSL custom documents, similarly upload an image. And, whatever message mentioned in Marketing will appear in the top section of a customer invoice and the text in Message area will appear in the lower section. The logo must be 300 x 300 pixels.
For including logo in the email template, first add logo for email templates in Company information under setup, like mentioned earlier, then view the Email Templates list, go to Company > Setup > Settings and click Email templates. From here, we can easily Edit, then select Include logo and then select the Vertical logo position and the Horizontal logo position. The logo must be 300 x 300 pixels.
For including logos on checks navigate to:
Cash Management > Setup > Accounts > Checking > At the checking account, click Edit > Click the Check printing tab > Under Company Address and Logo, select Print company address, Select Print Logo > Click Upload Logo, then select and upload the file. The image must be
50 x 50 pixels or smaller, and there is a 10,000-byte limit. The logo
aligns at the top of the company address, 10 pixels to the left.
