Do you want to change Item/Inventory information due to changes in business policies? OR User has setup the wrong values like Buyer, Reorder Method, Product Line, Demand Formula, Lead Time, Sales Account, COSG account etc.
In this situation, user has to change require values by selecting each Item and Inventory. However if there is a huge volume of Inventory Items then it is time time-consuming task to rectify the same.
In MAS 500 system, user can handle this through Global Item/Inventory Change utilities (IM->Activities->Utilities). User have an ability to change the require information based on an Item, Item Class, Item type, commodity code, status, track methods, purchase product line and sales product line. In this user has to select a field for change and enter the new value. During processing, changes will be applied to all items or inventories for the current company that meet the change criteria.
