There are various scenarios when we need to check the Database Tables:
[Before playing with data its always Safe to have a backup]
- Either we need to find the data added in backend for the hidden fields, as we are not able to check it on screen.
- In case if there is no screen developed for the table and we need to check if table is properly functional i.e. data is modified, inserted and deleted.
New Stuff: Source Verification in Sage X3
In the above-mentioned cases, it will be really helpful if we could access the backend database, but it may not be possible. Thus X3 has provided a feature to access the data using the below-mentioned menu:
Development -> Utilities ->Maintenance ->Rows
The user need to select the folder and the table to be accessed, based on this the screen pops up displaying all the fields. Entering the key fields will pull all the record details.
In case user needs to modify, delete or insert the records, the Row Maintenance provides this option.
The records are not locked even though another user is working on the same screen, thus usa er can easily play with the data without interruption of the Locked Symbols.
