How to Create a Style to Give Effects to Grid Title

Sage X3 provides a feature by which you can give effects to grid titles. You can choose the existing style to give stylish look to the grid titles.

But, except these existing styles, you can create your own style. To implement this functionality, follow the below steps:

New Stuff: Simplify processing of your online orders

Step 1. Navigate to Development > Processing Dictionary > Screens > Screens > Fields tab

-> Here, select a title to which you want to apply the style.

-> Right click on that particular title and select ‘Evaluated title’

Step 2. After that, ‘Evaluated title entry’ window will pop up. Click on ‘Style’ to create a new style.

Step 3. Now, ‘Presentation Styles’ named window will pop up where you can create your own style as follows:

-> Enter Style code, description and short title.

-> Right click on the last ‘Description’ field and select ‘Style editor’ option.

Step 4: Style editor will pop up.

-> You can click on ‘Modify’ button to select font, font styles, size, color and effects.

-> Select text background/base color.

-> Then, click on ‘OK’ button.

Below screenshot is the example for newly created style with the code ‘TEST’ and description ‘Sample’.
