How to resolve the Xena Flag issue on Account Promotion for Sage X3 ERP

In this blog post, we will guide you through the steps to resolve the Xena Flag issue encountered while promoting the Customer with a shipping address from Salesforce to the Sage X3 ERP system.

Generally this error occurs while attempting to promote a Customer with the shipping address from Salesforce to the Sage X3 ERP system, you may come across the following error: ‘[M:BPC4]XENAFLG’, as illustrated in the screenshot below.

This error occurs when you are using Sage X3 ERP version 11 within your Salesforce org and attempting to promote a Customer with a shipping address from your org to the Sage X3 ERP system.

To address the Xena Flag issue error, follow these steps:

  • Log in to Salesforce.
  • Navigate to the Home tab.
  • In the left side panel, use the Quick Find box at the top to search for ‘Custom Settings’. Click on Custom Settings.

  • Navigate to Standard Settings under Custom Settings. Then, click on the ‘Manage’ action to manage the Standard Settings.

  • Now, click on the ‘Edit’ action to view and edit the Standard Settings information to resolve the Xena Flag issue.

  • Navigate to the ‘Enable XENAFLG’ checkbox field in Standard Settings Information.
  • Check the ‘Enable XENAFLG’ checkbox and click on the ‘Save’ button this will resolve the Xena Flag issue.

  • Next, navigate to the Accounts Tab within GUMU Integration and proceed to promote a customer with a shipping address to the Sage X3 ERP system.
  • Now, the Customer will be successfully promoted to the Sage X3 ERP system.

Note: These steps are applicable only if you are using version 11 of Sage X3 ERP system in your Salesforce org.
