Order Promotion is now available directly on the standard Salesforce Order record page fully compatible with all supported ERPs.
What’s New ?
Previously, promoting a Sales Order required users to navigate to a custom Sales Order tab, which added a few extra steps and often disrupted the sales workflow.
With this latest enhancement, user can now promote orders directly from the standard Salesforce Order object. This update brings a smoother and faster experience, eliminating tab-switching and aligning with your natural sales process.
How to Promote Orders from the Standard Salesforce Order Page
- Open an existing Order in Salesforce and add line items if needed.
- Locate the new “Promote Order” button on the standard order layout.
- Click the button to initiate promotion.
Note for Sage 100 Users
When promoting orders to Sage 100, you’ll see an additional Promote Order modal. Please enter the required information before proceeding with the promotion.
- Confirm your entries and click “Promote Order” again to submit.
- You’ll receive a confirmation message upon success or an error message if something goes wrong.
By following the above blog instructions, you will be able to promote and manage orders faster and more intuitively eliminating unnecessary navigation and improving productivity.
