In this blog, we will explore a key feature of GUMU™ Integration within the Lightning interface: the enhanced support for displaying Customer Statistics from Sage 100. This powerful functionality enhances the ERP Addresses and Fields tab under the Account object by seamlessly integrating real-time data from the ERP system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information representation.
How to Enable Customer Statistics in Salesforce
Follow the steps below to set up this feature in your Salesforce Org securely and efficiently:
- Login to your Salesforce Org.
- Open the GUMU™ Integration app.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Scroll to the ERP Addresses and Fields section.
- If the Customer Statistics section isn’t visible:
- Navigate to Setup → Edit Page to customize the layout.

Configuring in Lightning App Builder
- In the Lightning App Builder, click on ERP Addresses and Fields.
- In the Components tab (left-hand side), search for Customer Statistics.

- Drag and drop the Customer Statistics component below Sage Addresses.

- Click Activate, select Org Default and App Default, then click Save.
- Return to the Customer record – the Customer Statistics tab should now be active.

Customer Statistics Fields & Insights
Click on the Customer Statistics tab to view real-time metrics pulled from Sage 100, including:
- YTD Sales (Year to Date): Total sales for the current fiscal year.
- LYTD Sales (Last Year to Date): Total sales for the previous fiscal year.
- LLYTD Sales (Last to Last Year): Sales from the fiscal year before the last.
- % Change (YTD vs LYTD):
(YTD / LYTD) - 1
- % Change (LYTD vs LLYTD):
(LYTD / LLYTD) - 1
- Last Invoice Date: Most recent invoice date from Sage 100.
- Last Sales Order Date: Most recent sales order date from Sage 100.
- Days Since Last Order: Number of days since the most recent order.
- These real-time insights are calculated using ERP data retrieved via GUMU™, helping you track customer activity trends and identify potential revenue opportunities directly within Salesforce.
By following the above blog instructions, the user can view real-time data in the Customer Statistics section, enabling quicker insights and more informed decision-making directly within the Salesforce interface.
